Hepati̱tis [zu ↑Hepar] w; -, ...titi̱den (in fachspr. Fügungen: ...ti̱tides): Entzündung der Leber. Hepati̱tis A vgl. Hepatitis epidemica. Hepati̱tis apo|stemato̱sa: Leberabszeß. Hepati̱tis B vgl. Hepatitis epidemica. Hepati̱tis bilia̱|ris: von den Gallengängen ausgehende Leberentzündung. Hepati̱tis epi|de̱mica: ansteckende Leberentzündung durch Virusinfektion (meist mit einem ↑Ikterus verbunden). Man unterscheidet vier Formen:
1) Hepatitis A (Abk.: HA): auf oralem Weg (fäkale Verunreinigung von Nahrungsmitteln) übertragene Hepatitis. 2) Hepatitis B (Abk.: HB): durch Transfusion übertragene Hepatitis. 3) Nicht-A-nicht-B-Hepatitis: weder zur A-Form noch zur B-Form zuordenbare Hepatitis epidemica. 4) ↑Deltahepatitis. Hepati̱tis inter|stitia̱|lis chro̱nica: = Leberzirrhose. Hepati̱tis par|en|chymato̱sa acu̱ta: = Leberatrophie
